Great video on YouTube for Baofeng UV-5R accessories.
Doing my morning Google search looking for more information on the Baofeng UV-5R radio and accessories and stumbled across a great video on Youtube. This is a nice short video that covers the Speaker mic, battery packs and accessories.
Some of the highlights are:
Using the speaker mic, you re able to keep the radio farther away from your body and exposing yourself to RF. You are also able to place the radio over your head extending the range of the radio.
Connecting the Battery eliminator to the radio, and using the cigarette lighter adapter to charge the battery. This method can alos be used to connect up to a solar power charger like the Goal Zero solar panel kits to run the radio, and keep your batteries charged up.
